Te Tāwharau o Ngāti Pūkenga

Te Tāwharau o Ngāti Pūkenga was established in 2013 as an Iwi entity that was received and manage assets that were received in the Treaty Settlement.

It is the entity that represents all four kāinga - Maketū, Manaia, Ngāpeke and Pakikakutu - and provides for the management and administration of all the iwi assets.

Te Tāwharau o Ngāti Pūkenga is led by kāinga appointed Trustees. The Trust’s strength lies in their depth of experience, wealth of knowledge and desire for our people to succeed.

The Trust Board meets bimonthly and holds annual kainga roadshows where they connect with Ngāti Pūkenga uri.

Ngāti Pūkenga Investments Limited

NPI is the investment company that is charged with creating more opportunities for Ngati Pukenga by strategic investment of the settlement assets. The Company like Te Tawharau has a charitable purpose and exists for the benefit of Ngati Pukenga uri.

NPI was established in 2015 after the settlement assets were received.
